The Harbord Golf Club is one of the oldest Social Golf Clubs on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The Club presently has over 45 active members with up to 32 playing on any given day. Members range in age from early 20’s to retirees, and handicaps range between 6 and the maximum allowed of 36.
Courses played include:
* Long Reef
* Mona Vale
* Warringah
* Balgowlah
* The Springs
* Northbridge
We play every Sunday and tee-off times are generally the first at each course. Different events are played every week with prizes for place-getters and Nearest To Pins etc. See attached “Fixtures” for full details. Green fees vary, but range from $35 to $55 depending on the course played.
A 3-day (Friday – Sunday) trip is an annual event held in October and is usually well patronised. In 2009 the Hunter Valley was our destination, 2010 was Forster-Tuncurry and in 2011 we travelled to Kangaroo Valley. Plans are well under way for 2012 when we will return to the Hunter Valley, and for 2013 to Nelson Bay.
